(Foto: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"canvas-atom canvas-text Mb(1.0em) Mb(0)--sm Mt(0.8em)--sm\">No obstante, a la hora de utilizar el microondas, bien sea <strong>para cocinar, calentar o descongelar,<\/strong> hay que tener en cuenta algunas indicaciones, por ejemplo, qu\u00e9 alimentos son aptos para cocinar, qu\u00e9 tiempo de cocci\u00f3n asignar a cada uno, qu\u00e9 recipientes y materiales utilizar o qu\u00e9 tama\u00f1o es el id\u00f3neo.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"canvas-list List(d)\" data-type=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Alimentos ricos en agua. <\/strong>Debido a la manera en que se calientan los alimentos cuando se cocinan en el microondas, a<strong>quellos con mayor cantidad de agua son los m\u00e1s aptos para el microondas,<\/strong> como las frutas y las verduras y todos los l\u00edquidos. De hecho, una de las ventajas que presenta este m\u00e9todo es que<strong> retiene en mayor medida que el hervido en agua las vitaminas hidrosolubles de los alimentos, <\/strong>como la vitamina C o las vitaminas del grupo B.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calcular bien el tiempo. <\/strong>Por lo que respecta a la cocci\u00f3n, los expertos aconsejan no superar los tiempos recomendados. As\u00ed, aquellos productos con menos agua se cocer\u00e1n m\u00e1s lentamente, dado que las ondas no mueven tan f\u00e1cilmente las mol\u00e9culas para calentarlo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"canvas-list List(d)\" data-type=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Mejor en tama\u00f1o reducido. <\/strong>Respecto al tama\u00f1o de los alimentos a introducir en el microondas, es m\u00e1s recomendable que se introduzcan <strong>en porciones peque\u00f1as,<\/strong> pues as\u00ed se calentar\u00e1 m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y se podr\u00e1 asegurar una mayor retenci\u00f3n de nutrientes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"canvas-list List(d)\" data-type=\"list\">\n<li><strong>No todos los recipientes son aptos.<\/strong> <em>\u201cLos materiales m\u00e1s apropiados para introducir en el microondas son el vidrio y la cer\u00e1mica. (Foto: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"canvas-list List(d)\" data-type=\"list\">\n<li>En cuanto a los envases de pl\u00e1stico, es importante cerciorarse de que se trata de un<strong> pl\u00e1stico apto para el uso en microondas, <\/strong>esta informaci\u00f3n debe venir especificada en la base del recipiente. Los envases que no son adecuados para cocinar al microondas son los de aluminio, los envases met\u00e1licos y o los de poliestireno expandido (EPS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"canvas-atom canvas-text Mb(1.0em) Mb(0)--sm Mt(0.8em)--sm\">Adem\u00e1s, debemos recordar que<strong> durante el cocinado en microondas,<\/strong> debido a la rapidez del proceso <strong>no se llegan a alcanzar <\/strong>temperaturas superiores a <strong>los 100\u00baC, <\/strong>que es la m\u00ednima necesaria para higienizar los alimentos.
